Some Origins of Wonder Woman

New York - DC Comics launched Wonder Woman, partly, in response to backlash by concerned parents against violence in comic books like Superman and Batman.  Wonder Woman's creator was  psychologist, William Moulton Marston.  In the mid-to-late 1940s, Wonder Woman was to be a magic bullet that could empower women and silence critics who said comics always contained too much violence.  As William Marston put it in 1945, Wonder Woman would act as "Psychological propaganda for the new type of woman, I believe, should rule the world."  "The Secret History of Wonder Woman" is not just her history, but a story of feminism and birth control.  Wonder Woman appeared just as America entered the second world war in December 1941.  Of the thousands of comic-book characters created in the 1940s, only Superman and Batman were more popular.  See full story, www.economist.com.

Rainforest in The Middle of The City

Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney's Rainforest cafe is part of a national chain.  This restaurant offers a fun dinner with plenty of excitement to watch while you eat.  There are two Rainforest Cafe's at the Disney World Resort in Florida.  There is one at the Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and a Rainforest Cafe in the Downtown Disney Marketplace.
Downtown Disney is a shopping, dining, and entertainment destination in the southwest corner of the Disney World property.  Guests who are particularly inspired by the rainforest theme may visit the extensive gift ship after their meal.
The Rainforest experience begins before you enter the restaurant.  A towering volcano rises from the top of the restaurant.  As you get closer to the restaurant you will see waterfalls cascading from volcanic crevices.  Around the entrance to the Rainforest are blooming tropical plants, more trickling water, and jungle animals in their natural habitat.  Sometimes, live tropical birds will be there, with their handlers, for guests to admire.
The experience continues inside the restaurant.  Cylindrical, long salt-water fish tanks are spaced throughout the dining area and add tropical color and tropical environment feel.  Trees tower from the restaurant floor and vines dangle from the spreading treetop canopy.  Indoor waterfalls, and a variety of species of animals in the tropical-rainforest tanks, add constant sound, and motion to the restaurant that truly makes the restaurant seem like it is alive with plants and animals.  Exotic tropical trees and plants in tanks are not the only decorative feature of the Rainforest Cafe.  The restaurant is also full of jungle creatures.  Monkeys swing from the treetops, a herd of elephants loom from the dense forest, and birds native to the tropical-rainforest fly overhead or sit perched on the trees.  The ceiling of the restaurant is an artificial sky that spreads a twilight glow over the restaurant and twinkles with thousands of stars.  Sometimes an afternoon thunderstorm rolls through, but guests are in no danger of being soaked, as rain washes through the dining area.  After the rain the animals begin to come alive again.  See also  www.disneyworld.com.

Movie Maker Says IRS Audit in Retaliation For Video

Washington - Movie producer and conservative activist says, the IRS is auditing him.  Logan Clements suspects the IRS move in "retaliation" for a documentary of his that criticizes ObamaCare.
Clements suggests in a preview of his movie in 2010, that ObamaCare would reslt in the type of socialized medicine in Canada that, Logan claims led to the death of his uncle.  Logan Clements appears to be using the incident in part to promote his movie, a video directs those who watch it to a website where they can download a copy of the movie for $10.  The political activist, Clements says ia a four-minute long YouTube video, there are several times in the Obama administration where others in the media were targeted by the IRS.  This allegation includes Breibart News, which alleged in September 2014, which says it is was also being audited.  Clements speculates that his audit, with its request for a "ridiculously long list of documents", is an attempt to delay the release of his movie until after the midterm elections.  Clements new film is titled "Sick and Sicker: ObamaCare Canadian Style."  Clements admits, "This could be a coincidence, but there seems to be a pattern here."  See full story, www.foxnews.com.
